“I highly recommend anyone with a British motor vehicle to use the services of Sussex Auto. The proprietor, Alan and his colleague Eric are two highly skilled mechanics that not only know British cars inside and out, but they are 100% honest and very pleasant in their dealings with customers. I had recently purchased a 1975 TR6 that was in good shape but there were some significant mechanical issues that needed sorting out. I had heard good things about Sussex Auto, so I used their services. Alan and Eric did their magic by properly diagnosing and remedying each issue, all the while keeping me fully informed of what work needed to be done and why it was necessary. My TR6 now runs and drives like a completely different car.

My experience with Sussex Auto will keep me as a lifetime customer even though they are 1 1/2 hours away from where I live (Cobble Hill). Even those living in Victoria should consider taking their British cars to Sussex and do what I did...just drove my TR6 to Parksville and then took the Island Link bus back home. The bus is a 10 passenger Mercedes that is very comfortable and has a bus stop just two blocks away from Sussex Auto. When my car was ready I just hopped on the Island Link bus, picked up my TR6 and thoroughly enjoyed the drive back home in what seemed like a new car...simply amazing!"

“I would like to acknowledge the skilled workmanship performed on my 1975 TR6. Every issue that was addressed was taken care of in an appropriate and thorough manner. Any time Alan came across something he thought needed tending to he would first call to get my okay.

Not only was my vehicle restored, but my confidence as well, knowing that my prize possession was also a sound safely functioning vehicle.

I would highly recommend Sussex Automotive to anyone with a classic British sports car, or for that matter anyone with a car!”

“I just wanted you to know that we arrived home safely yesterday and after your intervention the Morgan performed flawlessly. Your act of kindness and friendliness set the tone not just for myself but the entire entourage and contributed to one of the best road trips ever.”

“I wanted to take this first opportunity to let you know that the car ran like a dream during our Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club meet last weekend in the Victoria area. The fairly extensive repair work you did on the car was definitely worthwhile. Thanks again for a great repair job”
